Labyrinth Tattoos was established over 20 years ago by our Senior Artist and owner Maria. Working with sister business Sandra's Ink during this time, she quickly established herself as a tattoo artist when women were not as prominent in the industry as they are today. In 2019, she began to establish Labyrinth Tattoos as its own singular business with many returning loyal clients and happy new clients.
Maria has been artistically inclined her entire life and has developed her artistic skills in a variety of mediums. One of these mediums was a jewelry line which was sold across North America.
Maria apprenticed with award winning Tattoo Artist Reginald Morrel, and has been tattooing professionally ever since. Her attention to detail is unsurpassed. Her philosophy is that you are commissioning a piece of artwork for your body, so it has to be perfect.
Designing your tattoo is a creative process that can take some time depending on the size and detail that you want. The artists here at Labyrinth prefer to have you come in for a consultation to determine what exactly your thoughts are and how they can translate into a piece of wearable art.
From there, any artwork that has inspired your tattoo is compiled into your own client file. A rough design is then composed and sent to you for your approval. Once your design is perfected and is ready to be inked, some of our private rooms assure that there will be no interruptions or distractions. For our other two chairs in the Tattoo Studio room, a privacy screen is available for your appointment if you prefer.
